8 week sessions • Continuing through May 21. Classes will resume Fall 2010

One day per week for a one and one-half hour class.  Each 8 week session is $175.00.

Summer Camps available June through August

We reserve the right to remove any student from our program at any time due to behavioral issues.
Prompt pickup and delivery is mandatory.

Artzy Smartzy Classes include:

Drawing and Painting
Every artist must start with the basics. This class will concentrate on the fundamentals. Natural surroundings and still-life subjects will be interpreted by your artist using a variety of mediums. Intermediate classes are offered for students who have completed beginning drawing or have approval from the instructor.

Cartoon Drawing and Design
Silly faces, hands and feet make everyone smile. We'll create clever cartoons and learn the ins and outs of creating facial expressions. Drawing skills and graphic design basics will be our focus. This class is a magical must for the artzy animator!

Meet the Masters
Go back in time and explore the techniques of the great artists in history. We'll study the works of Monet, Picasso, Calder and more, and create our own "masterpieces," using these different artists' styles and techniques, bringing art history to life.

Clay and Construct
Create sculptures, useful pottery and clever clay creatures, while learning basic ceramic techniques used for centuries. We'll use a variety of sculpting medium to make muddy magic. This class is a great choice for those artists who love to get their hands dirty. Student sculpture and collage will use design, balance and artzy engineering.

Mom & Me Kindergarten Preschool Multi-Media Adult
We'll use a variety of projects to explore many mediums. A great way to develop good hand-and-eye coordination and a wonderful way for a child and parent to explore creative expression together! Every artist must start with the basics. This class will concentrate on the fundamentals. And your artist will learn many skills and enjoy trying several different techniques. A great way to learn!

This class will teach simple techniques that produce great works of art. And the best part is these projects are one-of-a-kind and may be suitable for framing!

Ages 3-4

Multi-media classes are designed to explore and challenge creative expression while learning a variety of techniques using many different mediums. Drawing and painting as well as dimensional 3D projects will be introduced. Adult classes are designed to meet the creative needs of older artists. Classes in oils, watercolor, mosaics, wireworks, drawing, pastels and more can be developed during these fun and informal sessions.

This class is a magical must for the Artzy animator! This class will provide home schoolers the opportunity to be creative and explore different mediums outside of the home setting. Classes can be developed to meet each groups curriculum needs.

  Beginning Drawing & Painting Intermediate Drawing & Painting Teen Thursdays  
  Every artist must start with the basics. This class will concentrate on the fundamentals. Natural surroundings and still life subjects will be interpreted by your artist using a variety of mediums. This class will continue building on the basics covered in the Beginning Drawing and Painting course.

(Intermediate classes are offered for students who have completed Beginning Drawing or have approval from the instructor.)
With this class we'll create all types of projects - in the media of your choice! Let's paint or draw or build 3D artwork using a variety of techniques. Creative teens will surely enjoy each minute every Thursday.
