About Debbie

Creative Energy

Our focus is to teach techniques to expand creativity and self expression.

Debbie Alspaw is a native Texan. She graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and began her career in advertising in 1980. After designing for several Dallas agencies, Debbie became Art Director for a personalized gift shop. Here, she was inspired to open her own greeting card business in 1983 - DAS Designs.

In addition to her custom card collection, Debbie also illustrates for children's books and creates new concepts for special order items and commissioned projects.

Now, she along with area artists, hopes to share their experience and creative energy with future artists. We welcome the opportunity to help you and your family explore artistic talents in a fun and casual setting.

 

 

The Artzy Smartzy Home Studio is located at 9102 Locarno Drive on the southeast corner of Locarno and Arborside in the Lake Highlands area ane.
